It was a case of ‘same ol’, same ol’ for the Bullets today as we took on Adlington Gorillas and once again, each and every one of the County players put in more than a shift out there…

Both sides observed the customary Remembrance Day traditions really respectfully and then from start to finish, we were dangerous in attack and solid in defence – with the opposition making it clear that they were finding it difficult to get the ball past Ezra in the heart of our defence! George S was an absolute star up front and it seemed that everything he touched ended up in the back of the net and with Joshua and Leon also getting on the scoresheet, we were ice-cold when the chances came…

With the coaches focusing on passing the ball in training, they were beaming from ear to ear as it showed out there today. Super teamwork and with no subs available to swap in and out, the kids really dig deep into their reserves to keep going. Joshua bossed the midfield area and with Harley unbeatable in between our posts, whenever the Adlington attackers did get through, he was pulling out all the stops to keep them out. Superb all over the pitch today…

And when the whistle went to signal the end of the game, it was the County fans who were cheering the loudest. Ezra was awarded the MOTM for not only his first-class defending but some super set-ups for the strikers and for staying calm when under pressure from their attackers. All of his team-mates can home happy though as they all did their bit – and we can guarantee the supporters will be going home happy after this one…

We love these Bullets! Every week they seem to be getting better and it shows that they really are listening in training. We can’t wait for next weekend already…
