This squad of players are never ceasing to amaze us all at the moment – because yesterday saw them put in their best performance yet – and that is definitely saying something after recent weeks!

Right from the moment we arrived, there was a look in their eyes that they wanted to do well here today – and they did not disappoint! It was clear from the minute that first whistle went that they had been really listening to what the coaches are trying to instil in them at training so to see them then putting it into action on the pitch is really a joy to see…

As a team, they are pressing together and getting back in to support the defence when required – and these are skills that will bode them well as their young careers develop. Togetherness goes a very long way in football so to learn these things at such a young age can only be of benefit for the future. Henry and Noah H were once again brilliant for us today – playing in between the posts – and both of them made some fine saves when called upon…

All-round it was a fabulous performance from the Falcons and they are all getting better and better as the weeks go by – however the Ensol Player of the Match for this one today was awarded to Miller for his absolutely fantastic defending every time the opposition came near him. Well done Miller – you did superb!

The coaches were beaming with pride as they packed the stuff up and went to their cars after this one – and why shouldn’t they be? Every week we are seeing improvements in both the playing and the social skills of this set of players and it’s really good to be a part of. Thanks to the parents and supporters that came down to cheer us on this morning and we’re sure you’ll agree with us when we say – make sure you come again next week as it will be even better again!
