We would like to announce that Infinity Fitness will be the latest sponsors of our Women’s team. We are looking forward to this partnership based on a football friendship. As part of the partnership I caught up with Kim from Infinity Fitness to find out more about Kim & Infinity Fitness
Q. Why did you get involved with sponsoring the Bolton County Ladies team.
A. Jess and Andrew Ross are good friends. I played football with Jess years ago and that’s where we met and have remained friends. I believe sport and exercise is vital for a healthy mind as well as body although I’m not a fitness fanatic though I just enjoy exercise and I enjoy helping others improve their health and well-being
Over the years I have made some lifelong friends through sport. Hence, it’s important to me to help out when I can.
Q. Can you please tell me more about Infinity Fitness and what your company does?
A. I am the sole owner of infinity fitness. I offer small group training including:
- Metafit (high intensity interval training)
- Circuit training
- Legs Bums and Tums.
I’ve also just trained in Metacubs, which is metafit for children, and I’m doing a training course for MetaPRO on Wednesday’s which is intense interval training but also covers teams, like football.
I’m currently studying for my PT qualification so I can then offer 1-2-1 training. Currently I can only offer 2-2-1 training as I’m a fitness instructor not a PT.
My nephew Chris is a Level 4 qualified PT and offers 1-2-1 as well as 2-2-1 PT
I want to encourage as many people as possible to train regardless of their age, gender, fitness levels, weight, etc. I have mainly women training at Infinity Fitness at the moment of all differing abilities but all enjoying exercising. Men are welcome though
Before lockdown we were seeing some good results and the majority of my members have returned with a good number of new clients.
It’s also a place to meet friends and train with your friends or family. The atmosphere is brilliant. Having fun whilst working hard.
