Once again, we are sure we sure Noah and his ark floating down Bury Road this week as the rain just didn’t let off – but the beauty of playing at Bolton Arena is that this wouldn’t affect us! It was game on again for our Falcons – and this week it was the challenge of Bromley Cross in front of us. Win, lose or draw, these kids have really been putting in the effort of late and as they warmed up for this one, the County supporters were sure that this would be the same…

We started really well as we created plenty of good chances – and some of our quick passing was really giving the opponents plenty to think about. Both sides were showing glimpses of how dangerous they could be in attack and Amelia – who ended up with the Player of the Match for her efforts – kept a brilliant clean-sheet in the first half. All over the pitch the players from both teams were putting in a shift and it was really good to see…

An enthralling game ended with goals for both sides – and with two in the last minute, it was a frenetic end to the match. The fans of both teams were delivered a delight here and the all-round performance from the kids in blue really made us happy. We keep going from strength to strength and the coaches couldn’t be prouder of their troops right now – so it’s onto the next one and we’re ready to go all over again…
