The 2022-2023 season is a special one in the history of our great Club – as we celebrate our 75th anniversary and as expected, we are planning on doing this in style – and we are so pleased to be able to release details of the Celebratory Dinner that would you all to come to!

Past or present. Player or supporter.  We want everybody to come and join us as we remember those hearty souls who built our Club back in the day. Formally known as Bolton County Grammar School Old Boys, we were established in 1948 but our origins go further back to the 1920’s. However we fell into abeyance during World War 2 – but we came back with a vengeance and went all the way through to 1982 when we changed our name to Bolton County AFC – as the Grammar School ceased to exist. And we have never looked back through any of those years as committed members, coaching staff, players and parents have flown the County flag with pride – so we really want to ensure that we give everybody the chance to come and join us as we celebrate that feat…

So make sure that you contact Dave Hough to get your ticket and put Saturday 24th June 2023 in your diary because this Dinner is a night not to be missed! A 4-course meal, pre-dinner drinks, games, raffles and a DJ will entertain you and fill your bellies – and there will be various speeches throughout the evening to remind you of the family we are all part of and to inform you of the big plans for our future. Who knows? People will hopefully be looking back in another 75 years and doing it all again!

Dave Hough is your man that can – so we are urging all of you to get sharing this and let’s make sure it’s a night to remember for a very long time. We’ll see you all there!
